When you upgrade to Windows 10, the process leaves you the ability to reverse the changes. If it’s been several days and you are happy with the result, it’s time to get back that important disk space.
Those who use SSD know well that capacity doesn’t come in trees and 20GB is a significant amount of space that you can use for other things. Windows 10, in the process of upgrading from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, allows us the ability to reverse the changes in a set of files which in total occupy around 20GB of disk space.
Surely you will feel identified with the following situation, as it’s not unusual when you have Internet service at home. Once the contract is signed, the technician from the ISP comes to your house, locates the communications output, and installs the router just some meters away.
It is true that, on rare occasions, we can negotiate an installation on another room, but sometimes this is even not enough to ensure wireless access to all locations in the house. Though this lack of coverage in every corner was not a problem a few years ago, today most homes have a wide range of devices whose full functionality depends on a correct Internet connection; and not just entertainment or productivity elements (such as laptops, smartphones, tablets and printers), but also control and safety elements (such as wireless thermostats or surveillance cameras) that can only fulfill their functions if they have a stable Network connectivity.
To check if these problems have a solution, we reviewed one of the most powerful network extenders that can be found on the market, the TP-LINK WiFi Range Extender AC1750 RE450.
For big problems…
A big problem needs a big solution and the specifications of the TP-LINK WiFi Range Extender AC1750 RE450 show it as the perfect candidate for this issue.
AV-TEST has made an interesting comparison that has allowed them to see which the best antivirus are for Windows 7 that you can find in the market.
Yes, we are aware that there are more current operating systems, such as Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, but the reality is that today Windows 7 continues to lead the OS market for general consumption, and by quite a comfortable distance, a situation that doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon.
AMD has unveiled its new products in the field of GPUs for the professional market of integrated systems. These systems are used in a large number of devices and machines, many of which we use day to day and others that are for more specific tasks. GPU acceleration, both in terms of graphics as well for calculation, has its applications in advertising systems, industrial machinery control, communications infrastructure, equipment and medical machinery, as well as in entertainment applications, such as electronic gaming systems or video panels for events.
AMD’s proposal for these markets comes with a new range of GPUs in different formats. On one hand we have models in PCI Express card format for these compatible systems with these standard cards. There will be full-size models and low profile ones for compact systems. For even more compact solutions there will be MXM PCIe cards, both of Type B with a maximum of 100 W and 105 x 82 mm in dimensions, as well as Type A with 82 x 70 mm and a lower TDP of 50 W.
Maybe it’s time to renew your computer: find a computer that fits your needs in this new season. Or, on the other hand, you may only want to expand its power or capacity.
What do you need to know about the components of a computer to mount the best PC or get the right parts? Though at first this may be complex, the important parts of a computer that you must assess are not too many. Let’s get to know them better.
The hard drive
The hard drive is possibly one of the most important components of a computer: thanks to them you can store data and install the operating systems. There are several types of drives: magnetic hard drives (the most widespread), SSDs (new and fast) and hybrid drives that combine both technologies.
The Xbox One is undoubtedly one of the best you can find on the market, but for fear of lack of support and the price, many users prefer to continue using the Xbox 360.
Fortunately, this fear is unfounded, so this pad does not stop being a good choice if you seek a new joystick or you want to renew the one that you already have, because as we anticipated, you will be able to use it without problems in Windows, Linux and OS X, something that we will discuss in this article.
Windows
It is really easy to use the Xbox One in Windows 7 or higher, since Microsoft has released specific drivers for this version and Windows 8.1, while on Windows 10 the drivers come preinstalled by default, so everything is plug and play.
Synchronization in the cloud is as important when we use from our computer as when we use it in pendrive. It’s a perfect method to make sure that our documents are always updated and safeguarded in an accessible way from anywhere.
Some pendrive come from factory with this feature but SyncDocs allows us to do this in any USB flash drive since it has a specific version and is fully “portable”. It’s free, with reduced functionality, allowing us to transfersup to 10,000 files that can be expanded if we share the app with a friend. The license costs $20 per user and not per machine so we can use it on any computer we want. It’s what I call a flexible license that won’t try to get more money off if we change our PCs or Pendrives.
SyncDocs works only with Google Drive, and it’s almost its only limitation, and in its licensed version we can even synchronize folders someone has shared with us, synchronize network folders, multiple Google accounts, scheduled backups, etc. It is a very powerful tool.
I’ve used Norton Internet Security for 2 years and was quite satisifed. Norton Security replaces the previous applications Norton Antivirus and Norton 360 so that all features are included in one application. I’ve been using antivirus applications for many years. I already had Norton Antivirus in the 90s although back then the program slowed down my PC significantly. That’s why I used other applications in between. Avira, Comodo, Kaspersky, and McAfee for example, I can’t even remember the names of some of them. I had the premium versions of Kaspersky and Avira but all in all wasn’t really satisfied. Avira lasted the longest (3 years) until the software stopped working and even a new installation couldn’t protect my PC properly. After that I tested the free version of Comodo but wasn’t all that pleased because the application was very intrusive but didn’t offer 100% protection.
Because of all of that I switched back to Norton Internet Security 2 years ago after some positive reviews in Magazines and from customers persuaded me. And indeed: After my first scan with Nortion Internet Security the software found 3 until then not found comprimised files which the application removed or even repaired. These weren’t some dangerous virus that would have made my PC useless but it did make a good first impression and showed that a switch of software was indeed necceary.
The first thing you need to do, if this is the case, is to uninstall Adobe Flash if you have it installed. Browsers like Chrome already have their own preloaded plugins to implement flash, so that many of us can avoid having to install additional programs. In case you did this, you must uninstall it …
