You can start upgrading to Windows 10 Creators Update on April 5th.

Windows 10 Creators Update, the new and highly anticipated version of Windows 10, is almost upon us. Microsoft is already finalizing the arrival of this new update to be able to release it definitively next April 11, however, because its launch will be progressive, the company has been wanting to offer newer, faster and easier ways to update, without relying on Windows Update, like how it is the Windows Update Wizard 10 tool that can access this new version early.

Microsoft has already confirmed that its new update, Windows 10 Creators Update, will officially arrive to all users next April 11, however, they also said that it would not be released to everyone at the same time, instead opting to do it in “waves “, forcing some to wait up to several months to start enjoying the new update.

This week we talked about the Windows 10 Upgrade Wizard, which has recently received a beta that allows us to easily download and install this new version of Windows on our computers. However, the company intends to launch a new version of this update wizard, a final and stable version, which will arrive, according to the company, on April 5.

This new wizard will be the same as the one we see seen in the previous article and will download and install the exact same version of Windows 10 Creators Update RTM. It simply corrects some minor errors detected in the tool to make it faster and more stable.

This way users who want to, will be able to install the final version of Windows 10 Creators Update officially using the new Microsoft Update Wizard starting next week. The company has ensured that this option is specially designed for the impatient and, above all, advanced users, who want to install it before the new version of the operating system.

For the time being, Microsoft has not confirmed whether it will release a new ISO image on April 11 when this new version arrives or finally delegate all responsibility for the ISO RTM it posted yesterday on its own servers, although this is more likely. Nor has it confirmed whether a cumulative patch will be released next April 11 to correct bugs in this new version of Windows.

The arrival of Windows 10 Creators Update through Windows Update could take months

As we have said on other occasions, the arrival of this update through Windows Update is going to be carried out progressively, not reaching all users at the same time in order to reduce the number of problems and not congest the Microsoft’s own platform.

This way, Microsoft plans to release the update to users first with standard hardware, OEM hardware, extending the range of compatible components as weeks go by until the upgrade reaches all users equally through the Windows updates.

So, unless you don’t mind waiting, the best way to upgrade to Windows 10 Creators Update is by using the Windows 10 Upgrade Wizard, which, as we have said, will be released again next April 5th, next week.
