Although it didn’t change externally, the new Surface Book i7 does introduce some important changes on the inside making it the top model of this family of Microsoft convertible notebooks.
The first improvement is found in the battery, Microsoft managed to add higher capacity batteries that give this new version of Surface Book 30% more battery, an increase that makes it get an impressive 16 hours of battery life.
The Intel Core i7 Skylake processor increases its performance and there are also improvements in the GPU, with twice the graphics performance and, according to Microsoft, 3 times more powerful than a Macbook Pro, and all this with an improved cooling system.
This version of the Surface Book i7 will arrive in November for 2,399 dollars, although it can already be pre-ordered in October.
