Cherry MC 4000, a High Precision Gaming Mouse

High performance periferics specialist Cherry has announced the launch of a new mouse to join their wide catalog, the Cherry MC 4000. This mouse is aimed at Professional Gamers and users that require maximum precision, which is why it uses the manufacturer’s best optical sensor.

The optical sensor Cherry installed in the MC 4000 has it’s pros and cons. The biggest pro is absolute precision, at any speed and on any kind of surface that is not reflectant (like all optical mouses). The con is that it’s only capable of running at two resolutions: 1000 and 2000 DPI. This huge limitation exists to make sure the sensor’s precision is absolute. Also, it has two different lights, red light at 2000 DPI and blue at 1000 DPI. It has a button next to the scroll wheel that changes the resolution easily.

Cherry MC 4000

One interesting feature is that the manufacturer installed teflon feets that cover the whole perimeter of the mouse’s base, in such a way that it’s always supported on sliding material so it slides perfectly at all times. I can’t remember any mouse of any manufacturer with this base disposition.

How to Get Rid of (Delete) Android Viruses?

Android is a very flexible operating system. Compared to competing platforms like iOS and Windows Phone, it gives more freedom of action to the user, but this evident advantage means taking some more risks about informatics safety.

The opportunity to install apps from external sources, “outside” the Google Play Store, and the pretty wide spread of the operating system (it’s the most used platform in the world, as regards smartphones) has meant that Android attracted some unpleasant attentions from cybercriminals, who create malwares aimed to spy the users’ activities, collecting their data and sometimes activating some very expensive premium services by SMS.

To protect yourself from this kind of risk, you need to use your own smartphone/tablet wisely, avoiding downloads of apps from external sources (but it must be said that sometimes, viruses have been found even on the Play Store, disguised as innocuous games or apps) and, if possible, installing a good antivirus: there are many of them, even for free, without slowing the system down at all, and getting to guarantee a great level of protection. If you want, I can suggest you some of the best ones around and teach you how to delete Android viruses by using them. It won’t take long, I promise.

How to prevent malwares installation on Android

Before we take a look to the best antimalware apps currently available on Android, let’s clear up an important point: to reasonably rest easy, you should just download apps from safe sources only, so from the Play Store only, from developers with proven reliability, and don’t root the Android system.  (Read More: How to Root Android Phone)

Full HD vs 4K: what differences are there?

Until the 10th of July, UEFA Euro-cup will be the predominant media event on papers, online media and, above all, television.

Precisely, and despite other screens, like tablets, mobile phones or laptops, television is still the preferred media to enjoy sports competitions, in our own homes, at a friend’s or at public places like pubs and bars. And the bigger the screen, the better.

Generally, TV screens are categorised by the diagonal size of the screen, associating a larger size with a better quality of the device. But there are other parameters relevant in the quality of the screen, besides its diagonal inches.

Screen resolution

One of the characteristics of a television device, besides its size, is the screen resolution. Through history, this resolution has been increasing, coming from 365 lines of the analog TV, to the 576p of the SD (Standard Definition) resolution, later to the 720p of the HD (High Definition) and to the 1080p of the Full HD.
