ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has presented the gaming monitors Swift PG27AQ and Swift PG279Q with a 27-inch diagonal, IPS panel with 178 degrees of viewing angle and very bright and true colors. ROG Swift PG279Q delivers a 2K / WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, while the model ROG Swift PG27AQ offers up to 4K / UHD (3840 x 2160).
Both screens include NVIDIA G-SYNC™ technology, that synchronizes the monitor refresh rate with the GPU to provide smooth action without delay. Also incorporate technologies such as ultra-low blue light, blink proof for a more comfortable gaming experience; and GamePlus and GameVisual, which offers clear competitive advantages for gamers.
ROG Swift PG279Q is the first monitor on the market with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a function that ensures the smoothest action available today on the market.

The ROG Swift PG gaming monitors series represents a new generation of monitors.
ROG Swift PG279Q incorporates a WQHD 2560 x 1440 and 109 pixels per inch panel which provides a higher degree of detail and a 77% larger space than Full HD monitors, features that represent distinct advantages when it comes to gaming. It also offers 100% reproduction of sRGB color space and a contrast ratio of 1000: 1.
ROG Swift PG27AQ has a 4K / UHD 3840 x 2160 and 163 pixels per inch panel, which offers a picture with a higher degree of detail and 4 times more pixels than Full HD monitors, which ensures a more detailed picture for movies and games, and much more space to work and for multitasking. Also noteworthy is the reproduction of 100% of the sRGB color space, contrast ratio 1000: 1, 10-bit color and a total of 1.07 billion colors.
The IPS technology of both monitors provides an image with surprising colors. Furthermore, the viewing angles of 178 degrees guarantee maximum color accuracy from virtually any position.

With a 165 Hz refresh rate, the ROG Swift PG279Q monitor annihilates any trace delay or blur in FPS, RTS, race and sports games. In addition, you can enjoy the highest picture setting, react before anyone to any stimulus and take the lead of the attack. The Turbo key changes rapidly between 60, 120 and 165 Hz refresh rate values and maintain maximum fluidity adjusting the images per second for the different videogames. To take full advantage of the refresh rate, you must install a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphics or higher models.
Both models incorporate NVIDIA G-SYNC™, a technology that synchronizes the refresh rate of the screen with the GPU of the computer’s GTX graphics, eliminating the tearing effect, minimizing delays in the entry.
Gaming functions
The ROG Swift gaming monitors series is equipped with a shortcut key to ASUS GamePlus, which includes viewing overlapping functions, timer and FPS. It offers four different viewing windows to fit the gaming environment, keep the time controlled by the timer on the screen and check how fluid the game works with the FPS counter (frames per second).
The GameVisual technology has 6 factory settings created specifically to fit the image to different scenarios (Landscapes, Racing, Movies, RTS / RPG, FPS, and sRGB). Users can access this unique feature with the dedicated key on the monitor menu.
Excellent connectivity options and 2-Watt speakers
Both ROG PG279Q as ROG PG27AQ feature DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI inputs. It also incorporates two USB 3.0 ports for charging external devices or use them as data input at high speed.
Located at the rear of the base, the accessory to collect the cable allows to organize and hide the cables to keep tidy the game area.

These monitors incorporate a blue light filter with four settings accessible via the integrated joystick on the monitor itself.
Both screens have a pedestal with an ergonomic design that allows you to manipulate the height, tilt, swivel and rotation to easily find the ideal viewing position. They have a 6 mm frame which is ideal for multi-screen configurations and can be anchored to the wall with a VESA adapter.
