MAC Cosmo Lipstick is an amplified Creme finish lipstick by MAC. MAC describes the shades as “Pink Coco”. It is a tea rose pink colour.

This was my first lipstick from MAC and I absolutely love this lipstick.
What I love about MAC Cosmo Lipstick :
- The shade. It an easy to wear warm pink shade.
- The lipstick is creamy and never makes my lips dry.
- The staying power is average to good. It stays on my lips for 3-4 hours. After a full meal also the lipstick does not gets wiped out completely.
- I love the vanilla scent.
- The lipstick does not settle in the fine lines of my lips.
- The finish of Cosmo is semi matte.
- The lipstick shade is very close to my original lip colour. So when I want to go completely natural, I reach for Cosmo. Infact, Cosmo looks great even with dark eye makeup.
- If there is one lipstick I would always buy from MAC, it would be Cosmo.

I bought this little cane stand today for my makeup storage. I’ll probably hang some toys on the sides to cutify it. 😀 I keep all my stuff in separate boxes. I keep my eye pencils, mascaras and brushes in a jar. Those jars sit inside my almirah because the brushes catch dust when kept outside.

I store my makeup in those plastic pullout drawers…all labeled according to the product category(Blushes, eyeshadow pallets etc). Lipsticks are further sub-divided into
colour categories in sub sections(pinks, reds etc).
I hunted for those drawers so much here but couldnt find. :(( so I bought thse jars and boxes from kitchen stores and I am quite happy with it. But if I find such drawers, I’ll def pick those up.
I liked that cane stand…I should also get some outside storage like this…not cos I have a lot of things – is just easier naa to keep things like this…..I am not welll…me writing all polite comments.. 😐

i love your storage, so neat! i don’t keep everything in separate boxes but i have a huge mirror with some space at the back, so i stack everything in categories.
this lipstick looks so gorgeous. it really is the same colour as your lips. i’m yet to find one for myself that’s so similar!
Rima actually it was getting very messy for me . The boxes were gathering dust and they wouldn’t stay all in one place. This way atleast it is all manageable. I also have the space at the back of mirror and the mirror is kinda twist-able but I think this would be easier for me. My vanity mirror is right next to the stand so everything would be handy. :))

I have the same effect with MAC Syrup lipstick (lustre texture).
It matches my own lip colour and has this little hint of pinkish and, most important, blue undertone I need to make it look perfect 🙂 Any lippie with less hint of blue looks awful :silly:

Flygirl may be they have used an old tester on you and it turned out to be drying and all. because amplified creams are not one of the drying lipsticks from MAC. I am sorry you had such an experience. :((
Hm, I have strange pigmented brown lips. I use Jubilee or Touch – which are permanent MAC lipsticks. You could try them for a simple nude lip. Other options would be Sophisto, Naked Paris, or Polished Up.

I actually tried it doing that at the MAC store yesterday and i had mixed reviews…my cousin said aint bad but my aunt said its too pale and makes me look sick…:S
actually you mixed both nudes na.. so may be that’s why it might have looked washed out.
one’s beige nude and one’s a creamy baby pink type..i love both shades…i have used both shades b4 and loved them..but sumhow i didnt buy them again cos i tried others like cosmo,hug me,blankety etc…then started using lipglass like chai,lust,beaux etc…u think i should buy them again????
